David Della Rocco is a supporting character in The Boondock Saints and The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. Rocco first appears as a friend to the MacManus brothers and is a messanger boy for the Italian Mafia. He later joins the Saints in killing because he was set up to be killed by the people he is working for.

Early Life
David Della Rocco grew up in an Italian American family in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a man for the Yakavetta Family, a Mafia crime family based in Boston, since he was in high school. He was known for being a joke teller and was nicknamed "The Man" amongst all the mobsters who knew him in the Yakavetta Family. He later befriends with Connor and Murphy MacManus, who he later joined to form ".
Relationship with the Mob
Rocco was not taken seriously by any of the other mobsters in Boston. He was unappreciated and made fun of for his low quality role in the mob as being a package boy. His only importance to Don Yakavetta was to make him laugh when he was having a hard day; however, Rocco had access to personal information on all the Mafiosos in Yakavetta family which made him of valuable importance to the MacManus brothers.
Joining The Saints
Rocco was sent by the Mafia to assassinate a group of Russian Mobsters which the Italians were having a turf war with. When Rocco arrived, he found that the MacManus brothers had already killed all nine of the Russian bosses and underbosses. He later discovers that the Yakavetta family sent him to kill the Russian mobsters knowing that he wasn't going to make it back. He joins the Saints and helps them kill members of the Mafia, one by one.
Death
Rocco and the MacManus brothers were captured by Yakavetta's guards while attempting to infiltrate Papa Joe's house, and was murdered by Papa Joe himself. The brothers then escaped from their confinement and preformed their family prayer on dead Rocco, swearing vengeance on Guiseppe Yakavetta. Rocco later reached the MacManus brothers in a spirit sequence to motivate them to continue their work as the Saints.
